Overview

The Audit Office of NSW is an independent statutory authority that conducts audits of the financial statements and performance of the NSW public sector. The Audit Office provides assurance to the Parliament and the public that public funds are being used efficiently, effectively and in accordance with the law. The Audit Office also makes recommendations to improve the governance, accountability and transparency of the public sector.
