Our purpose is to bring people and resources together to build a better world, and if you’re striving to make a big impact as a graduate, or a student looking for a hands-on internship with real world experience, the opportunities at BHP are endless.

Our graduate and intern programs in Australia can be FIFO or residential styles of work and a range of rosters, depending on the location and function. These include mine and rail network sites across Western Australia, BMA Queensland and South Australia and can be underground and above ground, along with functions in our offices in Perth, Brisbane, Adelaide and Melbourne.

Applications for the Australian Programs open 3 March 2025, and close 7 April 2025, for the 2025 Internship (10-12 weeks over the summer break in Australia) and 2026 Graduate Program (24 months, starting in February 2026).
